The use of digital media has created a plethora of new models of governance – components of e-government. Citizens have the opportunity to actively participate in governance of a region, a nation, a union through e-government applications and services such as public e-consultations, e-dialogue, e-voting, etc. Within the course, models and concepts of e-Government are analyzed and evaluated, such as planning, and managing e-government services, data openness, transparency and accountability.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will know:
- The basic concepts of e-Government.
- The basic models of e-Government.
