Welcome to the Department of Digital Media and Communication of the Ionian University. We warmly welcome incoming ERASMUS students and aim to provide a friendly, supportive academic and social environment throughout your mobility in Argostoli, Kefalonia.
About the Department
The Department of Digital Media and Communication (DMC) is a modern academic Department that combines the science of Communication with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
The Department is located in Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, approximately 2 km from the city centre.
Studies
The Department offers a modern eight-semester study program leading to a Bachelor’s degree.
The modules offered cover general knowledge in Communication and ICT, as well as more specialised knowledge depending on each student’s academic orientation.
Academic Support & Tutoring
The Department offers private or group tutoring in English for all undergraduate courses, with the exception of the traineeship course (798E).

Free Meals
Incoming ERASMUS students who wish to apply for free meals must submit the relevant application accompanied only by a signed Solemn Declaration.
Both required documents (2 files) are available on this page. No additional supporting documents are required.
Transportation
Incoming ERASMUS students can use local public and municipal transportation services for daily commuting within the city.
