Short Description:
Sociology is taught as one of the most important sciences in the humanities with a focus on the study of man as a part of society.
The aim of the course is to demonstrate how sociology and humanities studies, with their diversity and coherent conceptual density, can help with contemporary issues, which through globalization and the use of digital media and the Internet are emerging and multiplying.
Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to know:
- The basic terminology of sociology and the humanities.
- The basic theories of modern societies.
- The multiplicity of the discourse of sociology and social studies.
- The complexity of the answer to modern problems through sociological discourse.
