Short Description:
The course works in combination with the courses “Applications of Digital Image and Animation”, “Printed Media Design and Publishing” and “Digital Storytelling”. Learn how to editing audio and video through the process of media production. The course aims at introducing students to the subjects of radio and video production, utilizing the infrastructure and equipment of the Department.
The lab addresses the following topics:
- Acquaintance with the radio studio
- Voice recording
- Audio editing
- Video production
- Audio and video synchronization
- Design and presentation production deliverables
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to know:
- The important role of audiovisual applications in the modern reality of media
- Audio and video editing tools and techniques
- Produce radio and video productions as a team member
- Τo evaluate the method and the result, in terms of aesthetics, technological approach and communication
- To describe, analyze and explain all the issues that arise within the development of audiovisual applications
- To understand the correlation of sound and image at the level of management tools, message and interpretation
