Short Description:
The objective of the course is, first of all, the approach of Visual Culture with examples from the existing literature, the development of the methodology of visual studies and the computational analysis of visual data and also the analysis of visual culture using semiotics (semiotics).
Upon completion of the course, students:
- The basic principles of semiology (semiotics)
- The semantic power of virtual points, static or in motion
- The intercultural community and the differentiation from culture to culture over time and in space
- The justification of the inextricable link between culture and image
- Manage the based perspectives communication on existing theories
- The cultural context and artistic movements of the 19th and 20th centuries
- The role of the photographic image and the moving image (cinema) in the evolution of visual perception from the middle of the 19th century to the present day
