As the objective purpose of the course is to create graphics representations using a computer. The thematic sections include the basic terminology and design rules as well as an introduction to graphic digital communication. They are being examined issues such as form and composition, as well as their value in the design process, balance, rhythm and harmony. It is being attempted a first approach to the basic graphic applications of a promotional campaign, while analyzing the strategy (branding) and the role of corporate identity in the profile of a business or organization and laying the groundwork for logo design. While is being investigated the adaptation of the corporate identity to printed and digital applications such as e.g. cards, letterheads, leaflets, posters, websites, mobile applications, etc.
The lab addresses the following topics:
- Complete a visualization of concepts, by applying different approaches, understanding and sketching ideas and presenting them
- Logo Design & Brand Identity
- Use digital applications to draw posters, business cards, letterheads and icons
- Create graphic representations for print and electronic media
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to know:
- Complete a research of visualization of concepts
- Achieve Logo Design & Brand Identity
- Create digital applications with the theoretical and practical principles of User Graphic Interface Design
- Understand and be able to analyze the relationship between product, communication and interface design
