Agisilaos Konidaris

Agisilaos Konidaris is a Professor in the Department of Digital Media and Communication at the Ionian University, with extensive academic, research, and professional experience in the fields of Digital Marketing, Digital Communication, and Emerging Technologies.

He holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics, as well as an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from the University of Patras. During his studies, he was awarded two scholarships by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). He began his professional career as a Research and Development Engineer at the Research Academic Computer Technology Institute (RACTI), before founding a successful company specializing in digital technologies and Internet services in Kefalonia.

His academic and research interests focus on Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Artificial Intelligence applications in marketing, digital tourism, Search Engine Optimization and Marketing (SEO/SEM), mobile applications, and the design of innovative digital services. He has taught extensively at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervised research projects, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations, and has participated in numerous national and European research projects.

Professor Konidaris has authored more than 70 scientific publications in international journals and conference proceedings. His work combines rigorous academic research with extensive industry experience in developing digital strategies, driving innovation, managing complex projects, and bridging the gap between academic research and the needs of industry.
