Students after completing the course will be able to

  • recognize the different types of electronic publications,
  • choose the optimal type of electronic publication for their project,
  • design an electronic version,
  • edit an electronic version,
  • create an electronic version,
  • promote an electronic version,
  • handle all the necessary electronic tools to best serve the purpose of an electronic publication.
Syllabus:

The course deals with the issue of creating electronic publications, which are available via the Internet. The purpose of the course is to introduce the subject of electronic publications and the different distribution channels of content with existing methods of producing electronic/digital publications and electronic books. Special emphasis is placed on electronic publications that display news and informational content, in terms of their ease of use so that readers through different devices can read what they want. Finally, the tools that extend the capabilities of supporting electronic publications are presented in depth.
